Sinnet-Thorn Mountain Cave System, WV

Sinnett-Thorn is a ~2mi cave system in Pendelton County, WV. In the 1970s
Sinnett Cave and Thorn Mountain Cave were connected via a tight, 8in tall passageway.
The Thorn Entrance is a 60ft pit, both sides are gated and locked. This cave is only
open for a brief time in September. It is closed the rest of the year due to bats.
Access is managed by the Sinnett-Thorn Cave Conservancy.

I have visited this cave twice, in September 2013 and 2014. This cave is the subject of my article
comparing the photos from the two. The 2013 trip was my first cave photo trip.
